Highest close level for the index during the period was 10,996.38 point on 29/06/2021.
Total equity market capitalization at the end of the 1st Half 2021 reached SAR 9,722.23 billion (US$ 2,592.59 billion), increasing by 18.09% over the close of the previous year.
The total value of shares traded for the 1st Half 2021 reached SAR 1,339.26 billion (US$ 357.14 billion), increasing by 62.29% over the previous year.
The total number of volume traded* reached 42.50 billion shares during the 1st Half 2021 compared to 28.82 billion shares traded during the 1st Half 2020, an increase of 47.48%.
The total number of transactions executed during the 1st Half 2021 reached 52.19 million compared to 25.62 million trades during the 1st Half 2020, an increase of 103.74%.
