At the end of the 1st Quarter 2020 Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 6,505.35 points, decreased by 2,314.09 points 26.24% over the same period of the previous year. Highest close level for the index during the period was 8,474.81 point on 14/01/2020.
Total equity market capitalization at the end of the 1st Quarter 2020 reached SAR 7,561.97 billion (US$ 2,016.53 billion), increasing by 262.34% over the same period of the previous year.
The total value of shares traded during the 1st Quarter 2020 reached SAR 272.92 billion (US$ 72.78 billion), increasing by 54.23% over the same period of the previous year.
The total number of volume traded* reached 11.79 billion shares during the 1st Quarter 2020 compared to 7.72 billion shares traded during the 1st Quarter 2019, an increase of 52.65%.
The total number of transactions executed during the 1st Quarter 2020 reached 12.19 million compared to 6.50 million trades during the 1st Quarter 2019, an increase of 87.58%.
